Gene Simmons

KISS star Gene Simmons will be bringing his newly formed Gene Simmons Band solo concert tour to The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor on Friday, August 25, 2017 for his birthday 68th celebration (so the chances are good that his family will be in the city joining him). This is his first solo tour away from KISS since the band was started in 1973.

Simmons’ backing band consists of guitarist/bassist Jeremy Asbrock, guitarist Ryan Cook, guitarist Phil Shouse, and drummer Jarred Pope. Simmons will mainly handle bass duties. The band performs regularly as the Nashville-based Thee Rock N’ Roll Residency.

At the select few shows they’ve performed together, the band has pulled out some rare KISS and Simmons solo songs like Charisma, Plaster Caster, Radioactive and Got Love For Sale. They were also seen performing a Chuck Berry classic on the announcement of the classic rocker’s death in March.

KISS is currently wrapped up their KISSWORLD 2017 Tour in Europe this month and rumours are circulating that the band will record another album in 2017.

Tickets start at $30 and go on sale on at noon on Saturday, June 3.

Upcoming shows at Caesars include: Thunder from Down Under (May 26), ZZ Top (June 2), Journey (June 22) SOLD OUT, Lionel Richie (June 24), Alessia Cara ALL AGES (July 2), Megadeth (July 5), Wayne Brady (July 13), Huey Lewis & the News (July 20), Jeff Dunham (August 5), Tony Orlando (Aug 10), Jethro Tull by Ian Anderson (Aug 20) Gene Simmons (August 25) and Alabama (Sept 16).
