In a dazzling display of her signature blend of masterful violin playing, intricate choreography, and stunning visuals, Lindsey Stirling enchanted the audience at the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre on August 20th. The “Duality Tour”, in support of her genre-bending album of the same name, showcased Stirling’s refined musicality and gift for sculpting deeply expressive melodies that left the crowd spellbound and inspired.

Special guests Walk Off the Earth and Nya set the stage for an unforgettable evening of music and entertainment. The Canadian indie pop band Walk Off the Earth, led by the dynamic Sarah Blackwood, brought their eclectic sound and infectious energy to the amphitheatre, even inviting Stirling to join them for a special collaboration.

As the curtain lifted, Stirling emerged atop a stunning, multi-level stage design, complete with a large staircase at the rear of the stage and her talented backing band flanking her on each side. She commanded the stage with her electric violin in hand, seamlessly integrating intricate choreography and breathtaking aerial lyra acts into her performance.

Stirling’s diverse setlist included classical pieces like Bach’s “Toccata and Fugue”, fan favorites like “Shatter Me” from her early days, and even a holiday classic “Carol of the Bells”. The violinist’s mastery was on full display as she effortlessly moved across the stage, jumping, spinning, and twirling in a harness high above the stage, all while playing her violin flawlessly.
