Bad RomanceThe Tune Up The Park concert series features local musicians sharing their talents with the community in local parks. The series is heading into its seventh year after having to switch to online concerts last year.

Organizers and performers are happy to announce that this year Tune Up The Park will be “in person” performances scheduled to run from July to September, with backup arrangements in place if public health restrictions do not allow for gatherings.

All shows are free and start shortly after 7:00 p.m. Performances are scheduled to take place in Colchester Beach Park and Essex Centre Park. Colchester Beach Park performances are scheduled for Mondays and Essex Centre Park performances are on Wednesday’s.

On Monday July 5th, Bad Romance kicks off the concert series at Colchester Park. Colchester is Canada’s southern most point, with the exception of Point Pelee National Park, and is sure to be a hit for the entire family.

Beautifully groomed and located in the part of Ontario’s Southwest, it has the longest summers and one of Essex counties cleanest and most attractive beaches. Other attractions at Colchester Beach include a pirate ship playground, splash pad, concession stand, washrooms facilities, and accessibility mats for ease of use,

Established in 2016, Bad Romance is a high energy rock band that plays all your favorites from Scorpions to Halestorm.  The band has been playing parties, bars, clubs and festivals from Windsor to Sarnia with an eclectic assortment of songs ranging from the 1970s to present rock hits. Lead singer Jerilyn Lariviere, originally from Punta Gorda, Florida, hits notes like no other, while Rick Trombley and Blake Stiller tear it up on guitar, Daniel Lyons crushes it on the bass and Dan Lariviere smashes hard on drums.

Make sure you check out the band’s Facebook and Instagram page for all their upcoming shows and videos. #BadRomanceBand
