LiUNA! Bluesfest Windsor has announced its first Saturday night performer, Grammy Award winner Jonny Lang, for Saturday, July 14. Lang will be performing his electrifying sounds that span from gospel and blues to funk and rock, including music from his latest album Signs.
Since the release of his debut album, which was released when he was only 15-years-old, Lang has built a reputation as one of the best live performers and guitarists of his generation. The path Lang has been on has brought him the opportunity to support or perform with some of the most respected legends in music. He has shared the stage with everyone from The Rolling Stones and B.B. King to Aerosmith and Buddy Guy, who he continues to tour with today.
Signs, which was released in North America in the fall of 2017, is his sixth major label release and his first record in four years.
Lang joins rockers Extreme and Pat Travers Band as early announcements to the festival lineup.
LiUNA! Bluesfest Windsor takes place July 12 to 15 at Riverfront Festival Plaza. Early bird ticket sales begin February 9. More band announcements and ticket prices are expected on the same day, with the complete lineup being released on February 21.
