Country music festival Chaps and Spurs has been nominated as one of the Top 5 Best Music Festivals in Windsor-Essex in Tourism Windsor-Essex Pelee Island’s third annual Best of Windsor-Essex survey. Last year, the country festival held its first ever event with two days of food, activities, vendors and country music.
Musicians in 2017 included tributes to Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw and Shania Twain, plus national recording acts Steve Oriet, Eric Ethridge, Leah Daniels and James Barker Band.
Voting in the survey is currently underway. Other festivals in the category include Bluesfest Windsor, Fork & Cork Festival, Island Unplugged Music Festival and Kingsville Folk Music Festival.
