American stand-up comedian, actor, writer and producer Jim Gaffigan is visiting the 519 with shows at Caesars Windsor on Nov. 3, Centennial Hall in London on Feb. 6 and Centre In The Square in Kitchener on Feb. 7.
Gaffigan, who is one of the world’s highest grossing stand-up comedians, regularly does humorous commentaries on CBS Sunday and has many silver screen credits to his name, including Three Kings, Super Troopers 1 & 2 and Chappaquiddick. A recipient of four Grammy nominations and a two-time Emmy winning touring performer, Gaffigan is known around the world for his unique brand of humour that largely revolves around his observation of life.
This year, Gaffigan has an astonishing seven films scheduled for release that include Drunk Parents alongside Alec Baldwin and Selma Hayek, Being Frank and American Dreamer. Additionally in 2019, Gaffigan will release his unprecedented seventh stand-up special, Quality Time with Amazon, making history as their first original comedy special.
In addition to two seasons of the critically acclaimed semi-autobiographical, The Jim Gaffigan Show, and his widely popular stand-up comedy specials, Gaffigan has guest starred on many television comedies and dramas, ranging from Portlandia and Bob’s Burgers to the HBO cult hit Flight of the Concords to dramatic roles in Law & Order.
