Paying Cash

The music of Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley will echo in the halls of the Olde Walkerville Theatre on March 25 at 8pm for the Presley and Cash Highway Roadshow charity event. Starring Paying Cash – The Johnny Cash Tribute Show and James Gibb And The SilverTones (Elvis Tribute), the show will be raising funds for the Miracle League of Amherstburg.

Paying Cash is a four piece band that has mastered the unique original sound of Johnny Cash. The lead singer and rhythm guitarist (Jason Turcotte) captures the lead vocals of this great legend and has been able to make the audience feel taken back in time to 1968 live at Folsom Prison when Folsom Prison Blues was recorded for the second time around. This Band Has also walked the line by being the first band in Canada to perform behind the walls of a Canadian Prison following the footsteps of Johnny Cash.

James Gibb, from Harrow, Ontario began his tribute to Elvis Presley in 2006. From the famous sneer, flashy clothes and wild dance moves..James does his best to recreate the magic of Elvis in his early years faithfully recreating the shows as they were done by Elvis.

Proceeds will be going to help out the Miracle League of Amherstburg in raising funds for their wheelchair swing. Tickets are $20 each and includes taxes and gratuities. www.oldewalkervilletheatre.com
