David Foster and Katharine McPhee have a magical presence, much like that of royalty. His songs are masterpieces in modern pop music history and her voice first touched a generation when she won hearts and votes on the fifth season of American Idol. Having only been married for a couple years, the pair hit the road this year for the Kat and Dave Show, a variety program featured around Foster’s hits and some very playful family and marital stories. The duo had a Caesars Windsor crowd clapping and laughing along for a one night stand last week.
Foster warmed the audience up for a few songs before McPhee came to stage to add her voice into the mix. One of the highlights was a gorgeous medley of songs from Bodyguard focused on the two songs Foster worked on for the film soundtrack – I Have Nothing and I Will Always Love You.
