International superstar, singer, songwriter, mom and humanitarian Sarah McLachlan has just announced a Windsor concert date on her Twitter feed. The sultry songstress will return to The Colosseum on Wednesday, July 4, one day after an already sold out Brian Adams concert will be held at the city’s premiere venue, most likely as part of the 10th anniversary concert series.
Known for songs such as “I Will Remember You”, “Building a Mystery” and “Adia”, McLachlan is one of the most celebrated artists in entertainment with over 40 million albums sold worldwide. She is an eight-time Juno Award winner, three-time Grammy Award winner and a recent inductee to the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. In addition to her personal artistic efforts, McLachlan founded the Lilith Fair tour which showcased female musicians and raised over $7 million for local and national charities. She is also the founder of the non-profit organization The Sarah McLachlan School of Music.
An official Caesars Windsor announcement is forthcoming with ticket prices still to be announced, but they are expected to go on sale March 31 at Ticketmaster, with presales as early as March 25. We will update when we know more.
