The line-up for Windsor’s new Rock The Plaza music festival has just been announced. The August 2018 concert series will feature a lineup of 11 mostly Canadian classic rock artists.
With a combined 13 platinum records, six gold records, two Juno Awards and one Lifetime Achievement Award, this inaugural festival will feature 54-40, Randy Bachman, Honeymoon Suite, Little River Band, Platinum Blonde, Prism, Harlequin, Nick Gilder & Sweeney Todd, Toronto, The Headpins, and Helix. A detailed schedule, including set times and day of performances will be released at a later date.
Riverfront Festival Plaza, located in downtown Windsor along the Detroit River, boasts a beautiful view of the Detroit skyline and has been the preferred site to many of the city’s most popular outdoor festivals and events. The festival grounds will offer food trucks, drinks, and VIP access. Patrons are permitted to bring in their own lawn chairs for the event.
