The Sloan 12 Tour continues this fall with a stop in Windsor at The Dominion House on September 19 at 7pm.
The band has released all 12 of their albums with the same band members. After forming in 1991, Sloan became renowned across the Canadian music landscape for attracting the spotlight to the Halifax alternative and indie rock scene in the 1990’s. In the 26 years since their debut album Smeared, the band has released 12 full-length albums, two EPs, a live album, a greatest hits album and more than 30 singles and 200 songs. The band achieved their highest peak in the mid-90s when they had a trio if popular albums that spawned three top-10 hits in Canada.
Since its beginning, the band has remained Jay Ferguson (guitar, vocals), Chris Murphy (bass, vocals), Patrick Pentland (guitar, vocals) and Andrew Scott (drums, vocals).
