The Guess Who Visits Sarnia with New Album and Refreshed Energy

Guess WhoGuess Who’s back? The Guess Who, that’s who!

The Guess Who is responsible for countless rock classics, which still retain a major presence on rock radio – “American Woman,” “No Time,” and “These Eyes” for example. The legendary band return with a new album, ‘The Future IS What It Used To Be’, in September and are on the road with an appearance in Sarnia on July 27 at Bluewater Borderfest.

 

The band is currently comprised of founding member Garry Peterson (Drums, Vocals), along with solid musicians D# (Lead Vocals, Guitar, Piano), Will E. (Guitar, Harp, Vocals), Leonard Shaw (Keyboards, Flute, Sax, Vocals), and Rudy Sarzo (Bass, Vocals).

The album’s first single, ‘Playin’ on the Radio’, was recently released and can be heard on Spotify, Apple Music and other streaming services. Also featured on the album are several special guests including, Tommy Shaw (Styx) on vocals, Brent Fitz (Slash, Gene Simmons) percussion, Jim Kale (Guess Who founding member) and Michael Devin (Whitesnake) on bass guitar.

Tickets for the Sarnia Bluewater Borderfest show can be purchased at the gate. Also on the bill is Honeymoon Suite and openers Jabrito and Aces High.

We spoke with Peterson about the history of the band, the new album and stopping in Sarnia.
