Manitoba brothers Jason and Tom Petric are one of Canada’s coolest up-and-coming country acts. The duo utilizes their last name as their band moniker, which just happens to sound like a good band name at the same time. The band is on the road this summer promoting their new album 18 Ends, which includes their highest charting country single yet. They’ll be at Boots and Hearts this weekend at Burl’s Creek in Oro-Medonte, just outside of Barrie.
The band recently performed in the 519 at the Boot Hill Country Jamboree in Bothwell last weekend. After wrapping up their summer gigs, the brothers are looking forward to taking a little time to write some new songs. We spoke with the boys backstage at Boots and Hearts on Friday, Aug. 10, 2018.
