People of all genders and backgrounds are invited to participate in the 2018 Women’s March, a global movement. The March encourages participants to “Look Back, March Forward.” It takes place on Saturday, January 20th, 2018 at Windsor City Hall Square from 11am to 12pm.

A brief program at City Hall Square will precede the March once everyone has gathered.
We will march together from City Hall to the Great Canadian Flag. The March will be live-streamed for those who want to support, but cannot join or march.

A warming station will be at the Capitol Theatre on University Ave. This is a free event open to everyone. People are encouraged to bring signs, noisemakers and weather-appropriate dress. “Bring your Village” has been the rallying call to unite friends, family, and allies in the community to attend the march.

Those with work, childcare, eldercare, and/or ability barriers can still be part of the movement and conversation via the livestream or online using the hashtag #WomensMarch and #WomensMarchYQG.

Women’s March Canada – Windsor would like to acknowledge that the land on which they gather is the traditional territory of the Attawandaron (Neutral), Anishnaabeg, and Haudenosaunee peoples.
