St Clair College and The Bank Theatre proudly present Campbell & Johnston for an evening of music with special guest Leamington’s own barefoot musician Justin Latam, at The Bank Theatre is Friday May 26, 2023.
East Coast favorites Christine Campbell and Blake Johnston have been entertaining music fans for years both as solo artists and as a power duo playing vintage blues-rock and roots music with a modern twist. Two powerhouse guitarists and vocalists, they’ve played everywhere from local pubs to music festivals to the big stage opening up for some big names, like Burton Cummings, Steve Earle & Bob Seger.
Their latest release won “Best Blues Album” at the ECMAs in 2022, earned a Maple Blues nomination, and Campbell just won the Music PEI 2023 “Rooted to the Island” Award. You may also hear their music in various popular Canadian shows such as “Hudson & Rex” & Sullivan’s Crossing”.

Justin Latam
Opening act Justin Latam is well known to the Leamington community and has played many times at The Bank. Born and raised in Leamington, ON, Justin Latam (known locally as the “barefoot musician”) has been charming audiences since 2006. In 2015, he left his day job (and shoes) behind to follow a path of a working musician and songwriter. At the end of a last coffee house shift as barista, the shoes came off, the bare feet came out, and he hasn’t looked back since.
Campbell & Johnston at The Bank Theatre is Friday May 26 at 7 PM. Doors open at 6:30 and tickets are $20 + HST. Tickets can be purchased at banktheatre.com.
