Krisalyn Bell

St. John Vianney Catholic Elementary School student Krisalyn Bellavance, who goes by the stage name Krisalyn Bell, has been selected as an official competitor in an online competition for The Voice.

She was chosen from thousands of Instagram Knockouts entries in the Chicago market to dual it out in an Insta Story on The Voice Casting Instagram page on Tuesday, June 5 in the afternoon. The artists who get the most online votes will advance and go head to head in a live Knockout at the open call on June 9 to receive an automatic red card and callback.

The Voice just finished its 14th season and will return to NBC in the Fall with coaches Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson returning.

Krisalyn is no stranger to performing. She’s a member of the all-girl group Girl Pow-R from Toronto and has performed at WE Day this past April. She’s also currently recording with local hip hop artist Brad Shank.

“It’s been an incredible two years with last year being my busiest,” she says. “I can’t thank everyone enough for all the love and support through my journey so far.”

To advance in The Voice Casting competition, Krisalyn needs fans to vote online by following @thevoicecasting and voting on Tuesday, June 5 in the afternoon.
