Carrie was the only competitor from outside of the United States. She uses her own unique techniques and out of the box treatments. She assesses the body and listens to her patient before each treatment to decide what is best to make a difference. In the competition, she utilized elements of Trunamics, Medicupping, Warm Bamboo Fusion, and Himalayan Salt Stone Sinus Treatment. She has the opportunity of going to Copenhagen, Denmark in 2023 to compete in the World Massage Championships.

Carrie will be inducted into the Massage Therapy Hall of Fame in 2023 due to her contributions to massage therapy and for her charity work. Locally, she has supported charities such as In Honour of the Ones We Love, Mio-Manz Charities, Ovarian Cancer Canada, House of Sophrosyne, and The House Youth Centre.

Carrie is celebrating her clinic’s recent move to a larger 2,000 square foot space located at 3295 Quality Way in Windsor. She now has a chance to fulfil her 15 year dream of a clinic where everyone matters, therapists and patients alike. She is planning on offering complimentary classes. “Windsor’s Award Winning Clinic”, Above & Beyond Massage Therapy Clinic, which was founded in 2008, has won numerous awards, including ones from Windsor Star (Best of YQG), Biz X Magazine, Top Choice Awards (3 time winner) and Community Votes. The clinic is currently looking for massage therapists and other health practitioners who share the drive to help the community and make a difference.
